Alpha Deck is built on a single thesis: the best way to learn trading is to trade — with consequences, without real money. Modeled on flight simulators used to train pilots, the platform replays authentic historical market data so every price movement is grounded in reality, not randomized noise. The result is a professional-grade practice environment that meets users where they are, whether they're studying their first candlestick chart or refining an options strategy.

Frontend built on Next.js 15 with TypeScript (98.4% of codebase), TradingView Lightweight Charts for professional candlestick rendering, and D3.js for custom data visualizations. State managed with Zustand and React Query. Backend runs Next.js API Routes with tRPC for type-safe communication, PostgreSQL on Supabase with Drizzle ORM, and real-time updates via Supabase Realtime and Socket.io. Market data sourced from Polygon.io, Alpha Vantage, and Yahoo Finance. AI coaching layer powered by Anthropic Claude API. Deployed on Vercel.
